Cosmetology Esthetics, Nail Technology, and Instructor programs provide hours for students to sit for state exams for licensure. Makeup Artistry is a certification and no longer a license. We do not give the license directly, but the credentials are obtained from our training and forwarded to the State Board of Cosmetologists for the state you took the hours in.
Acrylic and other beauty chemicals are regulated by the state of MD for practice in approved school programs. You may register for a program (javascript:void(0))or participate with available continuing education classes (javascript:void(0))(if you are licensed and need more support). Graduates from other beauty schools will be allowed to participate in continuing education if they can provide documentation of enrollement. We are a compliance school and do not teach chemicals to non-licensed, or non-student public members.
